The Brother’s Brick have just put a post up with all of the new Fallen Kingdom LEGO Sets Photos. Looks like the second LEGO Jurassic World movie tie-in will have a solid lineup in their LEGO form. And as usual they feature some great playability. But this time, it’s good to see LEGO Juniors and LEGO DUPLO getting included! Something that was surprisingly absent last time. My kids will be thrilled!

So today I went down to my local shops to pickup some new sets. I’m trying to get a bit of variety in what I cover here, but more importantly have more variety for my new city! Of what I got two LEGO City sets that are soon to be discontinued I believe. Those the Airport Cargo Plane and Fishing Boat. Welcome to my second LEGO review. For this one, I’ll be looking at the LEGO Speed Champions Ford Fiesta M Sport WRC 75885. My second venture into the LEGO Speed Champions 2018 range and I’ll start by saying that I’m not at all disappointed! The whole package from the packaging to the build to the finished product reflects how far the quality of LEGO Sets has come. LEGO Twitter builder @mutch0505 recently posted these charming images of his stunning micro Lego Diorama. Based on Yokohama Minao Mirai in Japan, he’s done an exquisite job of capturing so much of that areas detail and I especially like the Nippon Maru Sail Ship.

Here’s a fun little time lapse build of the LEGO Speed Champions Ford Fiesta M SPORT WRC 75885. I’ve tried to make it clear what parts have been used and how they come together. The car does drift a bit doing the shoot but it’s my second ever one so need some work.

So this is my first time writing a LEGO review so you’ll have to bare with me. For this review I’ve focused on the LEGO Ferrari 488 GT3 “Scuderia Corsa” 75886. Like I said in my previous post, this is the first time I’ve gotten into the LEGO Speed Champions range. And I can safely say this won’t be my last (well, I already acquired 4 of the early 2018 range).

LEGO has announced that it will be launching it’s first round of sustainable bricks in 2018. Appropriately, the first LEGO Sustainable Bricks to go under the Environmental umbrella will be some of the Botanical elements.
These new bricks are made out of the same material that goes into the green fuels for cars, Ethanol. Based on sugarcane, the new bricks are known as a plant-based plastic.
