LEGO CITY UPDATE: We’ve been hacked!

March 9, 2019 By GJBricks Leave a Comment

Reading Time: 2 minutes

LEGO CITY UPDATE: We’ve been hacked! Someone’s hacked some of the LEGO Train junctions to go outwards and that meant the train yard had to swap places with the living zone, and now I think it might be awesome!
This was one of those ideas that I just couldn’t get out of my head. Now I’d modified my junctions in that recent video to exit outwards, it means that some new opportunities could present themselves!

It did involve swapping the living zone and cargo areas around, but I think it was the right thing to do! The spaces like this seem to suit what’s in them that much better! The cargo area is now more compact thanks to those junctions and we now have a really good space for the LEGO Train workshop.

This change should also sit better with the harbour area which has a new home that I think will work well. And, in writing this, I think the Studsburg LEGO City might be getting a small leisure marina!

Moving our LEGO City living zone and train station over to the old cargo dept also feels like it has a better flow. But, giving the space restrictions I have, I’m going to move to use Brick built roads. The LEGO Train station also has a lot more space as you can see from the 60197 Train sitting comfortably in the station space.

Let me know what you think of these along with suggestions for the next one(s) to get and don’t forget to like it!

My kids have found a new species of Unikitty! Here’s a sneak peak of it. Will be detailing it with parts from the rest of that set. But first I need to figure out the mechanism. This weeks challenge! :fire::fire: Follow me on YouTubeLEGO LIVE STREAM BUILD #63 - Sunday with@BlockHeadUKRevisiting something I started a while back. My rollercoaster. This is going to hopefully be compact but make use of the pirate coaster, pirates of barracuda bay and I’m aiming to try to build a launch system rather than the chain system LEGO uses. :fire:The one with the LEGO Aliens MOC experience - Part 2A teaser from my the next floor of my central perk moc. Few bits from a famous movie franchise in there. Can you guess what it is? And I thought M-Tron made a good crossover. It’s like the logo from those movies but upside down. :fire::fire: Follow me onGood news! I figured out how to put a LEGO minifigure head onto the friends dolls. One that was released a few years ago to employees of a company and then re-released as a general set two years ago. It’s a beast and one I’d wanted for ages.
