Modifying the LEGO City Cargo Train Depot to work better in my Custom LEGO City

The Depot from My LEGO City Cargo Train just didn’t sit right in my City, so I fixed it. Here’s what I changed!

I love my Cargo train (set 60052) and everything about it – actually, I just love LEGO Trains on the whole. But when I put the depot in my LEGO City, it just didn’t sit right so as to speak. The way it’s built, it never looked right. It didn’t match the plates. It felt borderline chaotic.

Then I saw something in the city by @pensfanssweden and it got me thinking. I’d been wanting to upgrade and build out that part of my city, and this seemed like the perfect way to do it.
