AFOL
The term “AFOL” means “Adult Fan Of LEGO”. in the online hobby community, LEGO used to be seen with a prominent divide where there were those that were “child fans” and those that were the odd “adult fans” because they played with a children's toy and therefore not something AFOLs could enjoy.
But most AFOL builds grew up with LEGO and have never let go of the joy it brings us! It brought our imaginations to life as kids and many of us have rediscovered it as adults - I'm one of them! In my case I have come out of my "dark ages" - a period where I didn't really do anything with LEGO.
The things people - kids and adults - do with LEGO varies. Some people enjoy seeing if sets will float or maybe what happens if you crash them together.
But other people - myself included - like to focus on the creativity and play side of LEGO. We are the AFOL builders that enjoy fuelling our imagination by creating stories in LEGO by creating our own LEGO City and MOCs (My Own Creation) builds.

LEGO Fan Blog GJ Bricks Launched
So I’m an adult LEGO Fan (AFOL if you will) called Greg who’s decided that besides my family, this is something that I’m super passionate about. To me, LEGO is one of the best toys ever created because it is just so creative and limitless in possibilities. Looking around the internet at what people like Jang Bricks and The Brothers Brick have been doing has inspired me to start on this personal journey of creativity.
With the GJ Bricks blog I’m creating an outlet for my love of the Brick. And, do something I’ve always wanted to do, which is go more into the models and community to talk about the beauty of it. I’ll be posting news, videos, reviews and sharing some of the most inspiring LEGO Builds from around the internet.
