The biggest change in this video is the addition of the raised area for the theme park which I’m really happy about.
I’ve swapped the cargo yard around and think it kicks butt now! The change was made to make it more interesting but also so you can see into the sheds when I add them.
My residential area is coming along too with lots of new buildings and I’ve started figuring out the roads too. A brick built road is definitely the way to go there! Now to try and get some tiles before Dr McBrick orders them all!
And let’s not forget the minifigures of our LEGO City are up to many whacky things as always. It never ceases to amaze me how much bricking around they can do!

One of the things that really attracted me to this set was how Classic LEGO it felt. That design reminds me of so many classic LEGO house builds.
This whole set is oozing with fun and detail and the LEGO Designers have managed to make the build really fun and not at all repetitive.
It took me about 90 minutes beginning to end. I will say that the “junk” element was a little less exciting than I’d expected.

This is an unboxing and review of this LEGO Movie 2 “2 in 1” set. I’ll run through both of the builds (linked below) and tell you my final thoughts as well as showing you the rather unique box and it’s contents.
Both builds are great and I love the nod back to the 80s style brick built house from the old LEGO City and Ideas books.
My least favourite part was re-building the rocket into the house as you’ve got to keep the parts organised. That, and I wasn’t blown away by the “scrap” build”

I’ve been stocking up on my signature minifigure (sigfig). But when I did that I check out the bricklink store inventory and this time I stocked up on some minifigure accessories. I’m rather pleased with what I got. Especially the LEGO Pirate hat.
Next up we have a SigFig from Caz of BlockHeadUK. She’s included a very thoughtful gift as well.
And last up is a car package from my dear mum who knows how much I love my LEGO and always keeps an eye out for some reading stuff for me!

I’m a huge fan of Ninjago and Dragons, so this set is a double win for me! It’s hands down one of the best dragons that LEGO has delivered. Why do I say that? Well, first it’s huge and they’ve made good use of all of that size with an epic wingspan and wings that flap.
They’ve also made it looks awesome and filled with design details – including printed parts around the head.
And then there’s the other stuff that comes with the set. A superb lineup of minifgures and a helicopter that is hands down one of the most unique that LEGO has done in a long time! (I have too many helicopters, but this one is allowable).
