LEGO Ideas Book 260 from 1990

April 8, 2019 By GJBricks Leave a Comment

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Join me on another journey down the LEGO brick-built pathway into the history books of LEGO Ideas. This time it’s the Ideas book 260 released in 1990!

This comes from my LEGO Archives and was amongst the many historic LEGO Books I have. In the video, I haven’t opened the book for a long time other than a quick peek. Flicking through the pages in this video, my memories came flooding back and some of the Ideas I built thanks to this book.

One thing I really enjoy about this and all the LEGO books from them is how they weave in and compliments official LEGO Sets from that time. I especially like the race and show car ideas. I also love seeing the different ways they build Minifigures in here. Some are the modern LEGO Minifigure, but others are rather charming brick builds.

But obviously, my favourite is the LEGO Space theme ideas. I still remember building the space ship launcher!

Let me know what you think along with suggestions when you’ve finished watching the video and don’t forget to like it!

After a challenging few weeks mentally and physically I made it back into my LEGO room and started the police station.
