Lego Creator Parisian Restaurant Speed Build Video – set 10243

September 1, 2018 By GJBricks Leave a Comment

Reading Time: 2 minutes

I loved the LEGO Creator Parisian Restaurant from the day I got it. Watch my build to see the details crammed in!

LEGO Set 10243 was released in 2014 and was something that a few of my followers had been gushing about. Some cited it as their favourite set.

I wanted to pick up the Parisian Restaurant for a couple of reason. The first is obviously for my Custom LEGO City and to give it a bit of a French / Paris cultural and culinary vibe. I recently did an update on how my LEGO City is coming along. In that, the partially built Set 10243 was set next to my Detective’s office. It was missing its roof though.

But, there was a second – and in my opinion – more exciting reason. I’ve been learning some of the techniques for building LEGO City MOCs so I can start creating my own.

One LEGO MOC, in particular, is a building for my wife’s many businesses including her balloon business! We had discussed it and she wanted to go with a French theme. Whom am I to say no when my wife lovely wife is asking for me to add to my LEGO City on her behalf?

Building this set, I was amazed by how much detail the designer had crammed into the LEGO Interiors. But, I think what most surprised me during the build was the LEGO Cooker in the artist’s room! Such a beautiful little build over the fireplace that had been snaking up the building.

Honestly, with this and the LEGO Creator Detective’s Office set 10246 I’m blown away by just how good the LEGO Creator Expert sets are! I want them all!

There’s more to come and I’ll be doing a tour of this great set soon!

Here’s a sneak peak of it. Will be detailing it with parts from the rest of that set. But first I need to figure out the mechanism. This is going to hopefully be compact but make use of the pirate coaster, pirates of barracuda bay and I’m aiming to try to build a launch system rather than the chain system LEGO uses. :fire:The one with the LEGO Aliens MOC experience - Part 2A teaser from my the next floor of my central perk moc. Few bits from a famous movie franchise in there. Can you guess what it is? And I thought M-Tron made a good crossover. One that was released a few years ago to employees of a company and then re-released as a general set two years ago. It’s a beast and one I’d wanted for ages.
