The latest line of LEGO Star Wars sets are now available to purchase online and in store. These are for the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story which is based, as you can guess, on Han Solo. In this line-up, LEGO has covered the core vehicles that feature in the trailer, and Brickset has hints of a few more upcoming sets to be released after the movie later this year.
Some of these sets feel a bit recycled, but then they have been in the movies for the last 40 years, so it’s kind of hard not to. I like the look of the Landspeeders in particular, but I don’t think I’ll be replacing the older sets I have just yet – I love my The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon! Below I’ve listed all the set using information from LEGO and Brickset, so please be sure to pay them a visit. These were released just before the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets.
30381: Imperial TIE Fighter
This is a smaller micro-set from the range. I believe this will probably be included with certain purchases as LEGO tends to do.
75207: Imperial Patrol Battle Pack
The smallest of the sets you can buy, but it packs a lot of bang for your buck. Coming with 4 figures, it’s a great way to start building your LEGO Star Wars Imperial army! I’ve purchased similar city sets for the same reason! And you get a fun little Star Wars Vehicle as well. Find out more about this set on LEGO or Brickset.
75209: Han Solo’s Landspeeder
One of the stars of the show for me and most of the moc community, this is already proving to be popular with the modding community. 75210: Moloch’s Landspeeder
I confess I don’t know as much about this set, but it looks great in the pictures. Packing in even more little details around the build, some great techniques have clearly been used to make the shell of this vehicle super interesting. It looks awesome to me! 75211: Imperial TIE Fighter
I have the previous First Order Tie Fighter from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and looking at this I can see they fixed my main gripe with the last one. The wings attached via small clips similar to those that usually hold tools. The wings are not light so they broke really easily, unfortunately. These have a much more solid looking connection with those clips which will provide good playability with breakaway wings. But, it will be strong enough for some serious swooshing! 75212: Kessel Run Millennium Falcon
Last an by no means least, the Millenium Falcon – Han Solo’s ship for the movies, and one assumes you find out how he wins it in the Solo: A Star Wars Story. There have been several versions of the falcon over time. I have the previous one from The Force Awakens which I love. But I can see the appeal of this one which follows the same great design and play features. The look is super clean and features that front escape pod/2nd ship.
