I’ve always been a fan of lighthouses and the bright colours of LEGO lend itself to doing something rather special with this nautical theme! So here’s my build of this great little LEGO Creator Set 31051.
For some background, I had been looking at the Scooby Doo lighthouse. Its an older set and was part of the LEGO Scooby Doo Haunted Hollywood movie. But then I came across this which is, in my opinion, much more impressive and downright beautiful!
So or this LEGO Speed Build I’ve done a few new things and tried some a new technique:
– Filmed in a new location which I think is much more interesting than the old white background I was using (I do need to put a screen behind though)
– Built the set a different way. Namely, completely out of order to build upwards rather than a section at a time. Not going to lie, it wasn’t easy!
– Tried a new transition between stills on the suggestion of my channel subscriber, Some Kid. I have to say, he was right, so thank you!
And make sure to keep an eye out for the Killer Whale! He could appear at any time!
