LEGO City Service Station Speed Build and Stop Motion Video

June 5, 2018 By GJBricks Leave a Comment

Reading Time: 2 minutes

This is a speed build of the great looking – in my opinion – LEGO City Service Station! When I first saw this set, I liked it. And with good cause. I’ve had a few of these LEGO City Service stations over the years, and they always provide a fun build and a great range of play features.

But this version blows the previous ones away! The build is so engaging, and the LEGO Designers have done a fantastic job on the structuring of it. There is a long history of the LEGO City Service station going all the way back to the original sets which were based on the Shell brand.

All the LEGO City vehicles included look great, but it’s hard to beat that road sweeper really. It’s gorgeous and probably their best yet!

You can still get this set in the shops, and it’s starting to get some nice discounts as it’s discontinued stock now. I recommend for any custom LEGO City! It already looks right at home in mine.

This video was shot using a Canon G7X Mark 2 using stills, that are then stitched together using iMovie on a Mac. This allows the highest quality, easiest re-shoots and a lot of control over the timing, colour and fades.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this video from the GJBricks YouTube channel! Make sure to comment and share this post. And don’t forget to get the latest GJBricks posts, be sure to subscribe or follow me in the sidebar!

Revisiting something I started a while back. My rollercoaster. This is going to hopefully be compact but make use of the pirate coaster, pirates of barracuda bay and I’m aiming to try to build a launch system rather than the chain system LEGO uses. :fire:The one with the LEGO Aliens MOC experience - Part 2A teaser from my the next floor of my central perk moc. Few bits from a famous movie franchise in there. Can you guess what it is? And I thought M-Tron made a good crossover. It’s like the logo from those movies but upside down. :fire::fire: Follow me onGood news! I figured out how to put a LEGO minifigure head onto the friends dolls. One that was released a few years ago to employees of a company and then re-released as a general set two years ago. It’s a beast and one I’d wanted for ages. Side note: none of the bags are numbered! Hence everything out at once. :fire::fiLEGO LIVE STREAM BUILD #61 - Sunday with Tazzman Bricks and StaniThe struggles of building at my LEGO desk.
