LEGO Train Shed by Jorgen Rubingh

May 31, 2018 By GJBricks Leave a Comment

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Trains are amazing machines in their own right. They look majestic in most forms pulling their huge loads effortlessly. But, it’s not just the trains. It’s the buildings that go with them as well. This LEGO Train shed by Flickr user Jorgen Rubingh is a shining example of how beautiful train buildings can be.

In this MOC, he’s created a fully living scene in and around the set. It’s packed with details such as the workman out the front repairing cabling. And the workman on some rather nifty scaffolding. There’s a couple of stalls, people everywhere. It’s one of those builds that draws you in the more you look at it!

I really love how he’s finished the whole scene off with white pieces of the snow. You’ll notice there are little piles of the white stuff everywhere. I especially like how he’s used white wings pieces on the roof to such good effect. If you look through the rest of his photos you’ll see how far the snow goes through the whole scene. It’s really impressive!

He’s also been kind enough to share detailed photos of the build he went through to create this wonderful MOC. There are a lot of techniques used to great effect to create the whole look. If you’re thinking of creating your own MOC, there are some very useful tips throughout.
