LEGO Ideas Typewriter (21327) now available for purchase on LEGO VIP

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The LEGO Ideas Typewriter (21327) is now available for purchase from the LEGO website [affiliate link]. There’s a lot to love about this LEGO set and the inspiration behind it.

This detailed LEGO typewriter model and was designed as part of the LEGO Ideas fan submission program. The design is inspired by the classic typewriter used by the LEGO Group’s founder Ole Kirk Kristiansen, and includes a letter from him.

It even moves and sounds just like the real thing with the brick-built centre typebar rising each time a letter key is pressed and is linked to the carriage that moves across as you type. There is also a platen roller that you can feed real paper into.

The set comes in at 2,079 pieces and costs $329 AUD | $199.99 USD | £179.99 GBP | 199,99 € | $269.99 CAD and is available now in most territories (UK Coming 1st July).

It is available to buy from LEGO.com today and the LEGO Typewriter makes a delightful display piece for any collection.

But I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments below. Will you be purchasing it?
