Magic brought to life in the illusionist, a LEGO automaton

Reddit user u/JoshuA42 shared a creation from his Brother in law, called the Illusionist, a LEGO Automation. In it, the illusionist makes the subject levitate and then passes a ring magically over them. It is a work of art! Watching the video below, everything about this creation is magical! It has one of the most impressive technic mechanisms I’ve ever seen! The movement is mesmerising!

Illusionist, a LEGO automaton – another wonderful contraption that sprung from my brother in law’s mind from r/lego

I have not yet figured out how the mechanism works exactly. But he opens it up to show the inner Technic workings. There’s a lot going on and it’s just fascinating to see the parts moving slowly up and then dropping. It is, as I said earlier, a work of art.

For those of you not on Reddit, I wanted to make sure you get to enjoy this creation. Please visit his post and like it. And check out some of his other creations on his YouTube channel!

Let me know in the comments what you think of this fabulous MOC!
