How to use Powered Up! to Motorize the LEGO Winter Holiday Train!

December 16, 2019 By GJBricks Leave a Comment

Reading Time: < 1 minute

In my last video I reviewed this train and liked it a lot. In this video I’ll show you how to take the parts from a LEGO City Passenger Train (60197) to provide the Powered Up components to get the LEGO Winter Holiday Train using Powered Up!

Buying a whole LEGO City 60197 Train Set just for the motor seems excessive and expensive. but actually, it’s ridiculously good value! Trust me, I’ll explain in the video.

This video I’ll talk you through the test and changes I’ve made to do this as well as some of the plans I have to improve it. There’s also a couple of quick clips of it going around my LEGO City.

Watch the whole Powered Up! LEGO Winter Holiday Train Motorised using a 60197 Train! video.

And if you missed it, the LEGO Creator Expert Winter Holiday Train 10254 Review!
