LEGO Creator Expert and Unikitty Haul = Fairground play time? Join Joss and me (and a screaming baby) as I share a special memory of a trip we had to New York City when she was young! The Creator Expert set brings back some fond memories of her when she was younger. And we LOVE Unikitty in our house so come to the Unikingdom with us!

First up, an apology. I had not realised our baby was crying the loudly – I was in the zone (and my wife is with her). So that is why there is background music. And she’s teething if you’re wondering why she’s crying – poor nugget.
So we went to New York City 2 years ago when Joss was still only 2. In DUMBO – Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass – there is a spectacular old Carousel, called Jane’s Carousel. It’s was built in 1922 and was preserved under a glass roof and makes children very happy! We ended most of our days taking the kids on it! If you want to know more, you can read it here!
So that inspired me to get the LEGO Creator Expert Carousel (10257). It’s a beautiful LEGO set and really captured the magic of the Fairground for me. I’m hoping I can do something to make it look a little bit like Jane’s Carousel. Perhaps with a simple roof and some tiling. And I’ll probably rename it to Joss’ Carousel.
The other set in this haul is LEGO Unikitty: Unikingdom Fairground Fun (41456). This is a set that my wife insisted I get as our house really loves how much fun – and how crazy – the Unikitty cartoon is. And this set really captures that! But, when it goes into our LEGO City, Studsburg, it will be converted to be minifigure friendly with Unikitty and her Pals working in the park!
And, as you can tell, Joss was itching to get on with the next video which was building a LEGO Movie 2 set that she had picked out for herself!
