I love how LEGO lets you just go where your mind wanders. On a rainy afternoon, I was playing LEGO DUPLO with my eldest and she’d had a fascination with making stairs using the 2×2 bricks.
Going with the flow, my mind went back to the great work of Escher and those fantastic staircases he drew. So not quite as mind-bending as his work, but we had a whole lot of fun making it together. And then even more fun running the LEGO DUPLO figures up and down the stairs. They would have been shattered!
It’s wonderful how inspiration can come from anywhere and go anywhere with a few bricks. In fact to quote the DUPLO Web page:
Create Playful Stories Together With LEGO® DUPLO®
Toddler role play is never boring! Watch how families create stories together while playing farm with developmental toys…
Think we did that perfectly with this. It was magical remember the reaction and the fun we had building and playing with it. Thank you for another great family memory @LEGO!
