Santa's Sleigh (40499) is coming to a LEGO City near you this Christmas!

LEGO has officially announced the second Christmas LEGO set for the 2021 festive season – Santa’s Sleigh (40499)!

The set features the man himself, Santa Claus and 4 of his reindeer pulling a rather splendid – and large – sleigh. The shape of it is beautiful and what I always imagined him delivering my Christmas LEGO sets in. It includes a whole heap of gifts in this back as well as a drawer with even more presents in it. This set nicely complements the LEGO Winter Village Santa’s Visit (10293) that was also recently announced, although it does mean you’ll be getting 2 Santa’s if you get both sets!

I’m not a collector of LEGO’s main Christmas sets normally, but I will make an exception for this one! My one complaint is that I’m going to have to buy 2 to get the right number of reindeer! And where’s Rudolf? I don’t see any red noses there.
