LEGO Looney Tunes collectible minifigures found by Brickset

April 3, 2021 By GJBricks Leave a Comment

Reading Time: 2 minutes

We’d heard the rumours that Looney Tunes figures were coming to LEGO. Well, someone at Brickset found a box in California!

As I’ve said before, I’m a huge Looney Tunes fan (sometime referred to as Looney Toons) and this line up looks spot on! Much like the Disney Collectible Minifigures, they are moulded shapes to realise the unique features like Daffy Ducks Beak and Bugs Bunny’s ears.

The line up has a lot of our all time favourite Warner Bros characters:

  • Tasmanian Devil (one of my favourites)
  • Wile E Coyote
  • Road Runner
  • Tweety
  • Bugs Bunny
  • Lola Bunny
  • Marvin the Martian
  • Silvester
  • Daffy Duck
  • Speedy Gonzales
  • Porky Pig
  • Petunia Pig

There’s 12 figures in the set and each box has 36 looney tunes characters so let’s hope that means 3 complete sets in each. And we can all breath a sigh of relief as they are in bags, not boxes! I’m liking the accessories too, especially the classic “That’s all folks” sign held by Porky Pig. Not to mention the “Rabbit Season” sign held by Daffy Duck – him and Bugs Bunny are always competing in the cartoons.

The guess is that these will be dropping on the 1st May on the LEGO.com site inline with other Collectible figure release dates.

What are your thoughts on these? Personally, this is on my “must have” list!

Now I’m going to go back to watching some classic Looney Tunes cartoons!
