LEGO News: UCS Ghostbusters Ecto-1 and Looney Tunes rumours

August 12, 2020 By GJBricks Leave a Comment

Reading Time: 2 minutes

There’s quite a few rumours doing the rounds at the moment. In this LEGO News update I’ll run through the biggest ones that have come to light in the last couple of weeks. Some of them seem looney or do they?

LEGO News Update

LEGO Creator Expert Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (10274)

This sets is Rumoured for 2021 and has a price tag of $199 USD already which puts it squarely in the UCS price range. Ghostbusters: Afterlife arrives in cinemas in March 2021 so could that be the time we get this set? It’s been rumoured for a while that we were going to get new Ghostbusters LEGO sets to coincide with the new movie.

LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures

This one has come out of nowhere but BrickFanatics reported in a recent post that one of the collectible series’ for next year (2021) will feature the Looney Tunes. I hope so as this would be a great collaboration and I’m a big Looney Tunes fan! If it is, let’s hope we see some other crossovers to this theme too!

LEGO Creator Winter Village Elf Clubhouse (10275)

I’ve not personally collected any winter sets as much as i’d love to. But this seems to have credibility and would fit with the Toy Workshop and Santa’s Workshops that were previously released. It’s a charming idea.

LEGO 10276 Colosseum

Rumoured for 2020 and Brickfanatics picked this up from a Eurobricks post. 9k+ pieces and is arriving in November potentially. But could this have been teased in plain site by LEGO already on the Fiat 500 box?

That’s all for now but I’d love to know in the comments what you think of these rumours. Just hot air or something substantial and exciting?
