New Stash of LEGO sets for March 2018

March 11, 2018 By GJBricks Leave a Comment

Reading Time: 2 minutes

So today I went down to my local shops to pickup some new sets. I’m trying to get a bit of variety in what I cover here, but more importantly have more variety for my new city! Of what I got two LEGO City sets that are soon to be discontinued I believe. Those the Airport Cargo Plane and Fishing Boat. They’re both sets I’d been looking at for a while and now they’re end of line I didn’t want to miss out on them!

There were a couple that I needed to complete my LEGO Speed Champions 2018 lineup – I’m waiting for the Ferrari Ultimate Garage to go on sale before getting that (I will though!). I’m not sold on the set and so paying full price – till I have more budget – is money I could put into other sets. This Time I picked up the Porsche 919 Hybrid and the dual set containing the two LEGO 911 Porsches in it.

And finally two sets for my upcoming LEGO City. First was the $10 bargain Mining Team. I LOVE these little sets. They’re such great value and packed with features and importantly, mini-figures! Last, and absolutely not least, the awesome Heavy Cargo Transport. Always love a good lorry – sorry, truck – and this is exceptionally good from the photos.

I’ve gone through them in more detail on the GJBricks YouTube channel. I’m pretty excited as you can tell! I just need 12 more hours in a day!
