As part of my LEGO Pirates of Barracuda Bay I’m working on a town area. In there, I plan to feature some theme park inspired builds. This Drop Tower – La Guillotine – is an example of those builds. In this video I’ll show you some of the details I’ve included plus how I’ve made it work.
This design is very compact and designed to support all 4 sides having minifigures on them. I’ve opted for only one side as it worked better with the design of the area. La Guillotine I know is slightly morbid, but in this case, it’s the perfect thing. I did consider using cannons as the theme, but it just doesn’t work well.
