LEGO Space Microfleet Armada ready to conquer the galaxy

March 25, 2018 By GJBricks Leave a Comment

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Looking at the Centre of London Build on Brick Nerdz today and this rather awesome LEGO micro-build came it. It’s called the Microfleet by Flickr use ska2d2 and is a LEGO Space fleet ready to explore the galaxy!

He’s created an entire fleet inspired by the likes of Chris Foss and Homeworld I would guess. I hope so anyway as I’m a huge fan of both those franchises. Here’s one of the many beautiful ships from the Homeworld game from the Homeworld Wiki.

His fleet covers a whole range of requirements including Maintenance, Science, Surveillance and Hospital frigates. For their size they are so varied and full of details. You really could imagine these things flying through the galaxy on a mission of exploration. Although he does obviously including the obligatory space battle vehicles with infantry landing craft, Dreadnoughts, Corvettes and Carriers to make sure no-one messes with this fleet.

Go and check out his amazing LEGO Space creations on his Flickr page, and be sure to favourite them if you like them!
