LEGO News: Harry Potter Hogwarts Moment Classroom Buildable Books

November 22, 2020 By GJBricks Leave a Comment

Reading Time: 2 minutes

LEGO has revealed 4 new Harry Potter buildable Books called Hogwarts Moment Classroom sets and each captures a moment from the books and movies. They are releasing on Jan 1st and each features a folding book design that opens up to show you a play scene.

Where the previous books have opened and had the scene played out inside the book with a 3D pull out approach, these ones stand up and you pull the scene out. Different approach but makes for some truly grand play scenes! And you can really

When assembled and folded up, they look superb! And the really nice thing is that they are each $39.99 AUD or $29.99 USD

And LEGO has really made them collectible with each having unique – and beautifully ornate colours that will sit perfectly together on the shelves.

So what about the books themselves?

Hogwarts Moment: Charms Class (76385)

This is Professor Flitwick’s spell-casting lesson in the main school building. As I said, this really shows the advantage of the vertical design as it allows those grand windows.

Includes Harry Potter™, Cho Chang and Professor Flitwick minifigures and comes with 256 Pieces.

Hogwarts Moment: Herbology Class (76384)

Head to Hogwarts greenhouse for Professor Sprout’s Herbology lesson.

I just love how this looks and all the parts and stories they’ve expertly captured. This one does look like you’d need the manual to know how to pack it down!

Includes Cedric Diggory, Neville Longbottom™ and Professor Sprout and comes with 233 Pieces which is the lowest but looks to pack the most in!

Hogwarts Moment: Potions Class (76383)

Join Professor Snape for a Potions lesson.

To me this is one of the less impressive ones. I feel that despite having the highest part count, this is the least impressive of the sets. But the figures are very cool for this one.

This set includes Draco Malfoy™, Seamus Finnigan and Professor Snape and comes with 271 Pieces.

Hogwarts Moment: Transfiguration Class (76382)

Let Professor McGonagall teach the Transfiguration class.

To me this is one of the more visually striking sets and really shows my early comment about the vertical build allow some impressive scenes

This LEGO set includes Hermione Granger™, Ron Weasley™ and Professor McGonagall and the number parts is 241 Pieces

Personally, I think these will be popular. But what do you think?

My one question is why they they are coming out after Christmas as theses are the perfect Christmas presents with a great price and ticking all the present boxes.
